Weird Science: A look at 10 of the oddest bits of sci & tech rss

From concrete pianos to flying-saucer tanks (both chronicled in this recent book) to nuclear-powered cars (the Ford “Nucleon” was never more than a concept, but the idea was on the drawing-board) to microscopic “super-hero water-bears”, the world of science and technology has its fair share of oddball ideas.

As we look over such stories, related (at least tangentially) to our daily-goings-on, here are ten that recently caught our attention:

Perhaps some of these will become the impetus for a unique line of science toys for kids to be included alongside many others on our store shelves in the future.  After all, who wouldn’t want their own snake robot?
