Triassic Triops are actual prehistoric creatures which are identical to their prehistoric kin. They survived the centuries during interrupted states of suspended animation or "diapause." This state of suspended animation enabes the triops to survive seasonal drought. Triassic Triops permits you to grow and study the behaviour of an amazing creature that has not changed in a million years.

Eggs are lab raised and not taken from their natural habitat. Triops can grow to over 1" in 30 days. Food and instructions are included. Adult supervision suggested for children under 10 years of age.
